Minecraft Game Review

I have been playing Minecraft for years. However, I only recently started to play it properly. I don’t think anyone has a bad thing to say about Minecraft. It’s a modern game that uses not so modern pixels.

Minecraft is the type of game that you can play however you want. There’s a creative option and a survival option. Both options are completely different. If you play on creative then you are given an unlimited amount of resources. Yet, if you play on survival, you have to mine and hunt for resources. On creative mode it is all about creating fancy houses and buildings, where as survival mode is more about mining.

You are also able to change how hard the game is. You can play it on peaceful which means nothing will attack you and you can mine or build freely. If you change it to hardcore then it’s not so simple. Monsters such as zombies and creepers can attack you. They will destroy all the things that you build which leaves you feeling devastated as you spend all day building it.

The thing I enjoy the most about Minecraft is that you can play it for hours and not get bored. There’s always something that you can do. It is a great way to kill time.

You can play it on your own or with other people. You can connect to people on your LAN or you can create a server to allow anyone to play with you. The only down side to letting anyone play would be if they decided they wanted to destroy everything you had done, you couldn’t really stop them.

Minecraft is also a good thing to make YouTube videos of. I often make many videos of my game play. It is a fun way for me to show everyone all the things I have wasted many hours building.

The only thing that I would love to change about Minecraft is the fact that you can’t have the same world on multiple devices. I have my world saved to my Mac mini which is great for when I am at home but not so great for when I am out. If it would sync across to my phone or iPad then I could play it when I was on the go.

Minecraft Pocket Edition is also great. However, the world is a lot smaller and you can’t do as much as on the computer. After playing both the pocket edition and the actually one, I would say that the actually computer Minecraft is a lot better and way more fun.
